For Tenants

  • 1. What is GetSetHome?

    GetSetHome is a platform for managed & shared rental solutions that provide access to good quality shared accommodations to Bachelors for long term stays. We have our foot prints over 4 cities Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Say NO to shady PG accommodation.

  • 2. What is a standardised GetSetHome?

    GetSetHome turns unfurnished houses into fully furnished managed homes and offers them as shared accommodation to singles. These single tenants are students & working professionals who migrate to other cities but often struggle to find good quality homes.

  • 3. What are the facilities available at GetSetHome?

    Our accommodations include quality furniture, home decor, modern amenities, property maintenance, monthly recurring bills and documentations making the whole package all-inclusive but easy on the pocket. Please refer to Tenancy Policy for complete details.

  • 4. What options do you have at GetSetHome?

    We understand our seekers and their requirements and therefore have following packages available:

    In Premium Accommodation:
    1 Individual per room only with space to yourself.

    In Shared Accommodation:
    Private Room: Compact size private room to yourself
    Twin Sharing: 2 like mind people in a room
    Triple Sharing: 3 to Tango, more affordable

  • 5. Are Wi-Fi, DTH, House Keeping services free?

    Yes, we provide a dedicated and unlimited 1mbps connection (basis availability from ISP) shared by other tenants staying in the same apartment. We provide standard package of DTH connection offering almost all top viewed channels. We employ local maids to provide daily housing keeping including brooming, mopping, utensils washing and weekly toilet cleaning.

  • 6. And how about electricity?

    If the electricity bill is included for a property, upper limit of inclusion is highlighted on the property listing page. The bill amount in excess will be split in equal on the total number of people staying in the apartment for the respective month.

  • 7. Is there a commitment of stay duration?

    No, our offerings are extremely flexible and 1 month stay minimum. However, for convenience sake, we make agreements for 11 months with an exit clause with 1 month prior intimation.

  • 8. And how about advance money / deposits?

    As a security deposit, we collect 2 months rental in advance which needs to be paid before you move in to the apartment. The money is refunded post exit within 7-10 days provided there are no pending bills / damages and we have your bank account details in the system.

  • 9. I would like to visit the apartment before confirming?

    Certainly, on the property listing page, you have an option to select the desired bed and fill in your details for our sales team to touch base with you to confirm a convenient time.

  • 10. Do I also get food inclusive at GetSetHome?

    Well, we provide a fully functional kitchen that allows you to cook. However, in few of our accommodations, we do provide a full time care taker who will cook all meals for the day. Just for clarity, the cost of cooking services and materials will be borne by individuals / split by all tenants.

  • 11. I will be carrying a lot of luggage with me, what's the scene on the storage?

    That's not a problem; we have lot of room for you and your belongings. We provide a bed with underneath storage and wardrobe to self, which is good enough to store goods carried in 3 big suitcases. We also provide a locker in your wardrobe for you to keep your valuable belongings safely.

  • 12. Do I get Bedding, Towel, and Personal hygiene kit?

    We provide bed along with mattress, pillow, bed sheet and pillow cover and blanket. However, we don't provide personal hygiene kits or towels.

  • 13. Do you have laundry facilities included in the package?

    We do provide fully automatic washing machines to cater to your requirement of washing clothes.

  • 14. Is smoking allowed inside the apartment?

    As you are aware that these are shared accommodations with individuals having different preferences. We have smoking zones in few apartments, but all GetSetHome are non-smoking.

  • 15. Is it fine for my friends to visit apartment at times?

    Being shared accommodation, you will have to respect others privacy. Also, the society has certain mandates and we are expected to follow those strictly. Therefore, we would appreciate your following house rules of NO GUESTS STAYING OVERNIGHT & NO GUESTS OF OPPOSITE GENDER VISTING HOME. Please refer to Tenancy Policy for House Rules.

  • 16. How can I book my bed with GetSetHome?

    Log on to www.GetSetHome.com, Select your preferred property from the list, Select Preferred bed options; and pay Token online to confirm your stay. We have multiple payment option to pay online i.e. Netbanking, Credit Card and Debit Card as per convenience. We do not accept payments in Cash, NEFT or IMPS.

  • 17. What is the maximum number of people I can book for?

    Well, it totally depends upon property to property and basis availability. You can call or log on to website to check on.

  • 18. Is there any discount for Long stays at GetSetHome?

    We would love to understand your requirement better. Get in touch with [email protected] for this.

  • 19. What happens once I make a booking / reservation?

    Once we receive token as a confirmation, you will receive an email confirmation with all agreed terms. Our team will follow up for document submission as it is mandate for us to submit individual documents in society before move in of the tenant. Before move in, tenants will have to transfer payable security deposit amount and monthly rent.

  • 20. What is the process to vacate?

    A month prior written notice, that's it.

  • 21. What happens if I do not cancel my reservation and do not turn up on the arrival date?

    This situation is called a 'No-Show' and in the event of no-show without cancellation, GetSetHome has the right to retain your Token / Monthly Rental.

  • 22. Incase I happen to relocate to some other city due to work purpose?

    We are always happy to help, if we have foot prints in that city, we will accommodate you.

Payment

  • 1. What options do I have for making payment?

    When you find the perfect accommodation, click on the Book button to use our website's secure online payment system. We have multiple payment option to pay online i.e. Netbanking, Credit Card and Debit Card as per convenience. We donot accept payments in Cash, NEFT or IMPS.

    Please note, all online payments will attract processing fee. Netbanking will attract a flat fee of Rs.89.5/- per transaction irrespective of the ticket size and Credit / Debit Card will attract 2% of the transaction amount.

  • 2. How do I pay securely for my reservation?

    All transactions on our platform are facilitated via our secure online payment system. As soon as your transaction is successful, you will receive a confirmation receipt on your given contact details.

  • 3. What do you mean by paying token amount?

    By paying token amount, you confirm your intent of staying at a property. However, the system will make a reservation and block it for next 48 hours. You are expected to move in or make complete payment with 48 hours to confirm your stay.

  • 4. What is your refund policy?

    As per GetSetHome policy, in case of booking cancellation, token / rent amount will not be refunded.

    Only incase rental and deposit amount paid in advance before cancellation, GetSetHome will refund the deposit amount.

    Mode of Refund: The amount would be directly credited in the bank account of the customer, even if the amount was paid in cash.

  • 5. My booking has been rejected, but my card has been charged? What do I do?

    This is a very rare situation, and can occur in case of a network fluctuation at the time of confirming the transaction. In this case, a reverse request for the charge on your card will be sent by us the same day to the bank. Incase of any other assistance, please call us on 8080 900 300.

  • 6. Verified By Visa - MasterCard Secure Code

    The RBI has made it mandatory, from 1st August 2009 onwards, for all online transactions to have an extra level of authentication to make online shopping safer. The 'extra' level is a password that you will have to enter after entering your credit/debit card details while making online payments. You will require this for transacting on any website in India, including GetSetHome. This new technology is called VBV - Verified by Visa or MSC - MasterCard Secure Code.

  • 7. What are the modes of payment available to book?

    We have the below modes of payment available for booking online:

    Debit Card
    Credit Card
    Netbanking

  • 8. When I enter my credit card information, the website asks for a CVV code. What is the CVV code?

    The CVV is a 3 or 4 digit code embossed or imprinted on the reverse side of Visa and MasterCard credit cards. This is an extra security measure to ensure that you have access or physical possession of the credit card itself in order to use the CVV code.1. For Visa and MasterCard credit cards, the CVV is a 3 digit number embossed or imprinted on the reverse side of the card. 2. For American Express cards, the CVV is the 4-digit number on the front right hand side of the card above the card number. 3. For State Bank of India (SBI) cards, there is a 19-digit number printed on the front of the credit card, of which the first 16 digits are the credit card number and the last three digits are the CVV code.

  • 9. The refund has still not been credited in my credit card account

    As per our company policy, we send a reverse request to the bank by the end of the day. Depending on each bank's policy, it can sometimes take up to 15 working days for the reversal to take effect.

  • 1. What browser works best with GetSetHome?

    Our website currently supports IE(version 7+ ), Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera and are adding support for other browsers as well.

  • 2. Why is the speed of this website so slow?

    We have optimized the website to offer the best user experience, we request you to once kindly check your connection with your Internet Service Provider.


  • 3. Does this site use cookies?

    Cookies help us customize our site to our customers' requirements, and offer a more personalized service.

Account & Settings

  • 1. How do I register with GetSetHome?

    Click on the 'Sign In' link on the homepage of GetSetHome.com. Enter your full name, Email id., contact number, password and click on 'Submit' and you are registered with us.

  • 2. Is it necessary to register for booking?

    Although registering is not a compulsion, we would suggest you to register on our website, since it would allow you to view your entire booking history and customize listing accordingly.

  • 3. Why am I being asked for my Mobile number?

    Well, the simplest reason being that it is for the security of your transaction and also so that the booking confirmation can be sent to you via SMS.

  • 4. What are the benefits of registering on the site?

    By registering, you get access to your booking history on the site. You can also opt to get information on special offers.

  • 5. I have forgotten my password, how do I proceed?

    On the GetSetHome.com home page, enter your username in the login box on the top right hand corner, click on the Forgot Password link, and the password will be emailed to you on the email address registered with us.

  • 1. How do I list my property?

    Click on 'List your space' button on the top. Fill out important details about your listing. Our business team will reach out with in 24 hours for a recce and confirm next steps.
