There must be some good deed we’ve all done to deserve so much happiness in a year. Who can even forget the magical night of November 19 when Coldplay performed in India at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC? And it’s probably too early to forget Justin Bieber at D.Y. Patil Stadium, Mumbai just yesterday. As if all this wasn’t enough, Ed Sheeran is coming to India, again.
You can check the date, it’s not April Fool’s Day. It’s right there on Sheeran’s website, the crooner who made the world groove to Shape Of You. As a part of his new album Divide tour, Ed will be coming to Mumbai on November 19th, the same day as Coldplay in 2016. Extending his Asian Tour for his third album after Plus and Multiply, Ed Sheeran has always been a fan favourite artist. The last time Ed Sheeran was here in March 2015. If you couldn’t make it the last time (or even if you could, how does it matter), you get a chance to see him live (again).
Just yesterday, on May 10th, Justin Bieber had a successful gig in Mumbai. 45,000 to 50,000 people went to witness the Canadian pop singer live at Navi Mumbai. Bieber wooed the crowd with his moves and stage presence, leaving everyone mesmerized. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, Ed Sheeran announced his plans for November. He added 14 new cities to his Asian Tour, which was made public on his website. This happened yesterday when everyone was gearing up for Bieber’s gig.
The details haven’t been out yet, so we’re still to know exactly where it will be happening. We’ll have to wait till 8th of June to know about the venue, the tickets and other details. But we do know where Mumbai is going to be on November 19, 2017.
