Things People Do In Stress

Working five days a week can put you under a lot of stress. Putting up with people you don’t like on a daily basis can put you under a lot of stress. In short, there is a lot happening in this world that can put you under a lot of stress.

Everyone you see around you has their own kind of stress they’re dealing with. And each one of them has their own coping mechanism. Following are the things people do in stress –

1. Eat

Believe or not, food is the best therapy. It takes more care of people than other people do. Stress eating is a thing. You’ll see a lot of people eating uncontrollably before they’re about to head for an important meeting. The bigger the stress, the more are the items on your plate. If only eating could solve all our problems.

Stress

2. Sleep

On a side note, if sleep isn’t your solution to all of life’s problems, you’re living life the wrong way. How amazing is it to forget about everything in the world and hug your bed till you gather the courage to deal with it all again! People who like to sleep when stressed are the ones who know how to live life the right way.

Stress

3. Overthink

A person who is stressed tends to think about the worst possible outcomes of all their problems instead of finding a solution. Overthinking, whether stressed or not stressed is not a thing you should do. That’s going to lead you to a road of more problems and imaginary obstacles. Why would you want to do that to yourself?

Stress

4. Sarcasm

There are some people who use sarcasm as a coping mechanism to forget about stress for a little while and have fun. This is the kind of person you should be, spreading joy even when you’re miserable. Next time you see someone who is overly sarcastic at all times, go and give them a hug because they really deserve it.

Stress

5. Drink

Not the best solution, I agree. But most bars on Friday nights are full of people who are there to drink away all the stress from the week and begin the next week on a good, high note. Alcohol gives them the courage to deal with people they don’t want to see. If you’re one of them, welcome to the club. You’re not alone.

Stress

One more day of stress.
